Otis-Bison Academy is a public, KSDE-approved virtual school within the Otis-Bison school district. As a virtual school, Otis-Bison Academy can offer courses to students (6th-12th grade and adults) not only in Kansas, but anywhere outside of Kansas where there is Internet access.
Otis-Bison Academy strives to meet the individual needs of each student. We create individual plans of study which consider the needs and goals of each student towards earning a diploma and beyond.
Otis-Bison Academy provides an alternative to a public, private, or homeschool curriculum. With OBA, students have available the tools to learn successfully at home. The curriculum includes core subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science, & social studies. In addition, a variety of elective courses to complement a student's plan of study are available.
During open enrollment, students who reside in Kansas can enroll at no cost as school funding is provided by the state of Kansas.
